GREETINGS TO ALL FROM WINGSPAN !
Chris Harding and I have been working hard on getting new editions of WINGSPAN out into the hands and hearts of men and women across the globe this past year and have received great comments and hurrahs for bringing this incredible "journal of the male spirit" back from the ashes.We just completed the 8th annual Leadership Conference and men came from around the country and Canada! The theme was WHERE MEN ARE NEEDED. As I have been pondering this forum that we had and the discussions that took place, yes men are needed everywhere and we are needed to support the work that we do.
That is one reason that WINGSPAN is of increasing value and truly IS NEEDED to expose "men's work" around the globe. And, there are very few like it around anymore. Chris and I have been looking at how we can increase revenue to keep WINGSPAN flying and to get more publications out in the communities. It was originally given out and funded by contributions and some ads. The circulation / distribution was over 200,000 and funded by men across the globe!!!
Well, now Chris and I are putting out 10,000 twice a year and not covering costs. Difficult, yes. yet in the long run we know our work is good.
Our plea is this.....
Can we get back to the basics and have WINGSPAN funded by contributions and then backed up by more ads space sales? We believe so and I pray so. If 50 men or organizations contributed $100.00 twice a year and then backed up by ad sales, WINGSPAN could be out of the red and flying high for a long time. It is the "journal of the male spirit"...and this spirit is tough to kill. Contributions like what I mentioned would help Chris and I breath air under the wings. ...and our dedication to continue can expand in size and circulation.
Please consider contributing on a regular basis. It is your publication. Ads are needed for the up coming Jan-June edition. I am offering a 10% rate discount to advertisers if they will commit to an ad BEFORE December 1st.. All you have to do is email me back with your commitment or that of another advertiser with ad size and dollar amount.
Visa and MC are accepted so please put in the email the card number, amount, exp date and name on card. Advertising Rates are attached in text format. If you just want to contribute, this can be done by card also. Chris and I value your support, your efforts to help WINGSPAN and your friendship.
Please help to keep the air under the wings. ... so WINGSPAN can fly strong into the coming year and the new millennium for men and women that are coming to read what the "male spirit" has to say.
